IPOB Congratulates ECA for electing Nnamdi Kanu as leader

Members of the Indigenous People of
Biafra (IPOB) have expressed gratitude to
an Igbo socio-political group, Eastern
Consultative Assembly (ECA) for selecting
the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Nkanu as
the organisation’s leader equally.
In a press statement issued yesterday by
IPOB Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma
Powerful, IPOB described the development
as a mark of appreciation of Mazi Nnamdi
Kanu’s struggle for the emancipation of
Ndigbo.
The Authority recalls that the ECA, took
the decision of announcing Mazi Nnamdi
Kanu, the detained IPOB leader/Radio
Biafra Director, as its new leader even in
absentia at its meeting held Tuesday in
Enugu.
Part of the IPOB Press statement read:
“The election, even in absentia of our
leader as the new leader of ECA, is a
great testament to the appreciation by our
people, of the sacrifice our leader is
making for the liberation of our people
and our progeny.
“We assure the ECA, that our leader will
not sell us out neither will he disappoint in
any way. We thank you all for the great
confidence reposed in our leader Mazi
Nnamdi Kanu.”
