A Chat with Fortune Records CEO - Prince Sabalala Fortune.

In this interview, I happened to have the chance of chatting with the brain behind Fortune Records. A label owned by a Nigerian young man based in Ghana. For Prince Sabalala Fortune, music is love and fun and not just the financial gain.

Prince Sabalala Fortune: Well, Sabalala is a house hold name, but I'm actually the CEO of Fortune Records and also a business mogul.
Tvital's Blog: Wow. From where?
Prince Sabalala Fortune: I'm from Imo state, but I was born in Anambra state and raised is Lagos.
Prince Sabalala Fortune: I presently reside in Accra , Ghana now.

Tvital's Blog: What brought about the motivation?
Tvital's Blog: What prompted you the start the record label?
Prince Sabalala Fortune: Well let's say my love for music
Tvital's Blog: And maybe the financial gain?
Prince Sabalala Fortune: Um, not really cause music is life and it's not all about the gain I just wanted to do something I love. I also sing for fun. And I think I will be dropping something soon hopefully.

Tvital's Blog: What is it about him that got you to sign him?
Prince Sabalala Fortune: Maolin is a talent
Prince Sabalala Fortune: He's got everything I want and love about rap

Prince Sabalala Fortune: Like watching him freestyle, being able to perform on stage. Etc
Prince Sabalala Fortune: If he gets lucky a single track can also convince me.

Prince Sabalala Fortune: Signing the in house artist and dropping more songs and also videos and hopefully win awards

Prince Sabalala Fortune: Well the big market is in Nigeria. So we have to break through the Ghanaian market and then hitting it big in the Nigerian market.
